wants to die

hi i have an 87 toyota 4runner 4x4 5 speed and it idles fine and then when i try to move it wants to die but i can get it to move with high rpms but stil wants to die when switching gears every time i try to get it going it dies then i push the clucth in and its fine and starts to idle again .

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs and also check the choke plate opening, accelerator pump and power valve of the carbuerator-also the EGR valve-

It's not carbureted it's efi I put a new computer in and still doing the same thing fuel pressure is perfect
