How do you replace the hydraulic lifters on a 1989 mercedes 300SE?

On this same car do you need to adjust the valves?

If I could have a step by step procedures with picture or diagram so that I will not be confused, I would appreciate that very much.

ROCKER ARM ASSEMBLIES

Removal

Remove valve cover. Position camshaft lobes of rocker arms to be removed downward. Remove camshaft bearing cap. When rocker arms can be lifted, the lifter can be pulled out to be replaced.

Reverse procedure for installation.

There is no necessity to adjust the valve clearances as there is noting for you to adjust.

When the position of the camshaft lobes of the rocker arms to be removed is downward, the rocker arm itself is up, the spring is not compressed. Is this true?
How do I turn the camshaft?
What is the torque of the bolts on the camshaft bearing cap?

Yes, with the camlobes downwards, there would be no pressure on the rocker arms.

Camshaft bearing caps torque is 11 ft.lbs.

Turn the crankshaft clockwise to turn the cams.

Do I need to remove the radiator, condenser to access the wheel for the crank-shaft, I am trying to see how I can turn the crankshaft by hand.

You need a box spanner to turn the crankshaft via the crank pulley bolt.
