What does a air bypass valve does if it goes bad?

what happened to make you change parts? do you have spark and fuel pressure?

On a twin cam engine should the exhaust cam alternate before the firing cam? And we took out the distributor to change a blown gasket and i think we threw the timing off if the timing is off will the car still crank up and come on ?

what gasket blew? did you mess with timing belt?

no we did not mess with the belt i think it was a exhaust gasket could u put the distrubutor back in wrong and it would stop the car from coming on and throwing off the timing

yes it could. but usually it backfires/kicks back when this happens.
