the front brakes are not releasing , I replaced
Problem with the Mercury Grand Marquis 1996 Grand Marquis
The front brakes are not releasing , I replaced the master cylinder and i cannot bleed the system . Its like there is a blockage in the system . The brake pedal does not pressurize at all .

Undo a brake hose close near caliper, closest end to the master cylinder, if nothing, move to the next hose, closer to the master cylinder...Sometimes hoses will mess up internally and act like a check valve, replacing the bad hose will be probably be your fix

If both fronts are not releasing look for the hose common to both.
