When i crank it up cold it revs to 2000 rpms and stays till it gets warm. What could that be?
Also i have no power... when i press the gas i feel like i cant go anywhere... when its in 1st gear from start off it revs to about mayb 2500-3000 and its like no power, its almost like its just straight rev and no pull... what could that be? I havent found anyone who can explain anything to me... so please help... this is my daily driver i need to fix asap..

The cold start system is designed to increase the idling speed which can range from 1200 to 2500 rpm depending on ambient and coolant temperature. this is normal operating phenomenom. If it takes too long to reduce in idling speed, it could be low on coolant, clogged coolant hoses to and from idle control thermal valves, IAC.

The transmission or clutch is slipping causing the low power.
