How do I fix this Short circuit?

I accidentally spilt water in the engine area when I hurt myself. Now the vehicle is not charging. Two alternators have been damaged, ECU is ok (Had it tested on another Chariot).

Can anyone know where the likely short circuit may have occured? I do not want to replace the alternator until the problem has been rectified.
