: I am looking at buying a car, always owned a truck, and it has an issue that the owner can't solve. It will start up just fine, rpms stay normal and it will move just fine until the motor gets to its normal running temp and then it will no longer move. He has replaced the motor, transmission and the intake. When it warms up and stops you cannot move the car in neutral either. I am stumped as to which direction to go. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Not sure what you mean. In neutral, you can't move the vehicle? Do you mean the brakes lock and it won't move? Is the engine still running properly when this happens?

I was told in neutral it cannot be moved. It is running normally as it should in neutral.

Have you tried lifting the vehicle to see if any of the wheels are locked? I think you have one that is locking, most likely due to a bad rubber brake hose.
