I am having considerable trouble installing the throttle body gasket between the throttle body and intake manifold inlet. The gasket does not stretch enough to fit into the grove and notches of the intake manifold inlet. The throttle body mating surface is flat thus requiring the gasket to be installed in the intake manifold inlet grove. Is there a special tool required for this installation? Can the gasket material be heated to stretch it's size? Any suggestions or solutions would be most appreciated.

That gasket shouldn't require stretching. Are you sure you have the right one?
