The ABS lights can get triggered when diagnostic system detects an issue within the ABS system. Usually, the ABS fault will turn on the traction control light as well.
It can be due to a bad sensor or a faulty wiring or module.
Best course of action would be to have the vehicle scanned for ABS codes. As that can help with the diagnostics to figure out what might be the issue.
