My AC is not blowing cold even while driving and noticed my temperature gauge was reading cold even when it is 100 degrees out and driving around awhile. what would cause both to not work?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

I believe we have two different issues. If the temperature gauge never moves from cold in those temps, either the sensor is bad, disconnected, or there is a wiring issue.

Lets start with the gauge issue. Here are directions for removal and replacement of the temperature sensor. Before just replacing it, check the connection to make sure it is clean, tight, properly connected, and not damaged. The attached pictures correlate with the directions.

Let me know if this helps. As far as the AC question, I will be happy to answer it. However, and I hate to ask, I need you to start a new thread specific to the AC. We are trying to keep the threads specific to one topic so it helps others. I hope you understand.

Take care and let me know if you have questions.
