Hi,

I have a 1990 Acura Integra the problem is that when the car is at idle the engine vibrates. When I bring the RPM's up to over 1100 the vibrating stops

However when I turn on any electrical item the vibration gets worse but will still go away at 1100 RPM's.

I have replaced the motor mounts on it but that was not the problem.

Do you have any idea what could be the cause of my problem.

Thanks, Josh

Hi there

How many mounts did you replace? Were the mounts seated properly?

The vibration is most probably due to engine vibration being transferred to to the body.

If it is not from the mounts, then you need to check for loosened alternator, AC or PS brackets etc.

Hardened radiator hoses will also cause the radiator to vibrate.
