1992 RS idles rough and emits black smoke

Hi,
Some times when the car is started it emits clouds of black smoke. I proceeded to do a tune up plugs wire cap rotor and now it does it ocasionally. Could it be the computer. I noticed that when it emits the black cloud it idle very high. I thought maybe the throtle body blades where sticking but they where not. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank s
