1998 BMW 318 Brake grabs on right side

Brakes problem
1998 BMW 318 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 126000 miles

When I apply the brakes at any speed there is a sudden tug to the right for just a second. You can feel it in the steering wheel as it tugs.

Then it goes away and the brakes feel normal.

What could be the cause?

Either your brake pads are worn unevenly or the rotors are warped.

Only a brake inspection will tell you this for sure. But as long as the "tug" only occurs during braking, then it's isolated to that system.
