I have a 1981 BMW 733i with somewhere over 200,000 miles, but I can't be sure just how many. Basically I just replaced the thermostat because I had no heat and my engine was running cold constantly. The engine runs fine now, but I have no heat still. I have checked the heater core hoses and the one is hot, but the other isn't. Clearly there is a problem. I havn't noticed any odors, but I can't be sure. I can't afford a new heater core and I don't want to tear the dash apart. Any tips?
