resistance to what?
One of the sensors, or a circuit of wire...

what are you wanting to test?

lack of resistance in 1 of 3 cables going to the ecm/pcm caused an overload. what pins do i check
in the 3 cables to correct the problem before i
replace the electronics?

Are you suggesting that you have 3 bundles of wires going to your ECM. And one of those wires, in one of those bundles has low resistance. And thus causing your ECM to blow up?

yes, the resistance to the ecm in one of the bundles
is too low or nonexistent, thus frying the system. it
should be a pair of pins in each bundle that could
give the answer so i can correct it before i order a new ecm/pcm

If you know what the resistance to each wire should be. Then you should be able to check them to find the bad one.

But I'm curious, how did you come up with this low Resistance idea.
