i belive you have a plugged cooling system, or you have a bad water pump, rotate the water pump by hand, does it turn smoothly and freely if so the bearing are good and you should precede to remove it to check the impellers on it to make sure they are still there and not corroded off. if it turns rough and unsteady then replace it.

ck the belt and tensioner on the water pump first its on the driver side of the engine in the front head assy. under a black bracket,, the water pump requires a special tool to replace it
