I took my blazer in to have a trans put in it they said the reason the trans went bad was the pump was puting out to much pressure and it started leaking trans fluid out where the bell housing is I guested it was either coming out of the input shaft or the gasket or seal I am not that familiar with this type of trans its a 4 speed 700 RD i think. But they said It was cause by the right rear brake cable being to tight and the brake was dragging realy bad I was just wondering if you have ever heard of that causeing a trans to go out like this or the pump to start pumping to much pressure. ?

Never heard of such thing the leak could be coming from the oil pump front seal or the o-ring and gasket on the oil pump housing
