2000 Chevy Cavalier. Mileage 187,000
my problem is, whenever i am braking my vehicle. i hear a loud noise that either sounds like a flat tire noise coming from the engine. my tire is fine and it is not flat so i know thats not the problem. i notice the noise only occurs really when i brake from 20km per hour and below. when i brake from anything higher you dotn here it until you hit 20. could it be a minor problem? maybe some fluid empty int he engine, or does it sound major?

Jack the car up, put on stands, remove tires and check each brake, front pads, rotors and calipers for binding. Rear drums, shoes and hardware.

Also inspect the front CV boots for tears, and front, rear suspension components, front ball joints, bushings, struts, tie rods and rear bushings control arms etc.
