Rear Right Tail Light not working

I have a 1997 4 door chevrolet cavalier, 85000 miles, Replaced Tail Light bulb with a 3057 LL by Sylvania. When I first replaced the bulb it work fine and then the very next day it stop working. When I tried to use my Hazards to see if the bulb work then it didn't. There is a little corrosion on the inside on the Tail Light Outlet.
