Just purchase this 98 vette. Every now and again I will be driving along and get the message on dash. charging system failure. Battery charge (on dash display) will go down ranging from 11.3 volts to 13 goes down for a short while then returns to normal? The other day drove 5 miles did it twice. Yesterday drove 15 miles no issue. Today 250 miles, showed message once. Gauge was up and down multiple times. No dummy lights of any kind. OBD2 scan clean? Any help?
