After I had my rack and pinion steering repaired, my cruise control no longer works and the light is on constantly for my airbag. The mechanic I had do the repair on the steering said this is unrelated, but the cruise and the airbag were fine when I brought the vehicle in. My question is: What would have caused these two new issues and is it something I can check or repair myself. The mechanic said he wanted $300 more to fix these new issues.
