temp gauge not working

94 Chevy S 10 2.2L. Along with my idle/transmission problem, I also have a problem with the temp gage. I put a new sensor in , but gage still does not work. Any ideas?

check for a broken wire, if thats ok then i suspect the gauge.

thank you for the tip. should I try jumping a new wire from dash to gage?

the gauge is in the dash. from the temp sensor trace the wire back to make sure it's not broken anywhere.if not replace the gauge.
