Our truck constantly needs water. About every 2-3 weeks we have to fill it up. It never overheats, but the Low Coolant light will come on - and sure enough, there is room for water. About 1.5 years ago we had a similar problem but the truck was overheating. When we had it repaired they said the thermostat was out. They replaced the thermostat and it seemed fine for a while. This problem with the Low Coolant and slow loss of water has persisted for some time now. What would be causing this to happen?
