wont shift gears

Sounds like you have a bad transmission or a blocked filter. Try changing the fluid and filter. If this does not work let us know...

My transmission will go into gear but the truck won’t move it’s a new transmission it’s also a different style transmission came out of a 1998 4 door Tahoe and I have a 1995 2 door Tahoe I got everything to bolt up trying to sell it but I can’t figure out what I need to do and I don’t want to down 500 more to get a new transmission could anybody let me know if you’ve had this issue or know how to fix it?
Both of the transmission are 4l60e
The one I pulled is a 1 piece
The one I put in is a 2 piece

It sounds like the pressure control solenoid is not working correctly. To be sure lets run the codes to see what comes up. Here is a guide and the solenoid location in the diagrams below:

The diagram is for a 2wd. I’m sorry I should have mentioned mine is 4wd.

It is the same as 4wd the only difference is the tail housing.
