Engine Oil Cooler Lines - Orientation

Have removed both lines for replacement without noting which of the lines attaches to the top fitting on the oil filter housing. Referencing the upper line on the radiator end tank, does it attach to the top or bottom housing fitting?

Hello Please ensure you are more specific on the engine by stating the Liter size and the 8th digit of your VIN to better assist you.. I used the 5.7L VIN R for this example.
