brake pedal hard

Brakes problem
1976 Chevy Truck (Scottsdale)

I have a 76 chevy c10 the brake peddle is hard I tryed bleeding the brakes and get very little fluid out of rear brakes. I have checked lines for damage and also have blown them out. I replaced the master cyl. and proportioning valve but no help. Any suggestion ?

Could be one of the following intake manifold vacuum low, vacuum brake hose leaking, booster check valve and booster itself

I to fitted a brand new master cylinder to 1976 Chevy/GMC Pickup. So I put bleed tubes to the back and front bleed nipples, and into a jar which already contained a small amount of fluid, so that the tubes couldn't suck air back, and bled both front and back brakes at the same time. Locked the bleed nipples back up, and had a solid brake pedal after trying to bleed the brakes half a dozen times doing back and then fronts and fronts and then backs, because the proportioning valve blocks one end or the other because it thinks you have blown a brake line out. Hope this helps. It sorted my brakes out after I nearly tore my hair out trying the conventional system.
