My car is a 1991 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. 3.0 liter 115,000 miles. It was taking FOREVER for the heater to get hot. I decided to replace the thermostat. I got a Duralast 192` original O.E.M. replacement from Autozone. I did everything right. But when I tried to put the bolts back in I could not tighten them down. Both bolts holes stripped? If so what can I do?

Hey dsn,
Two possibilities and they both involve professional help. 1. is to have a repair shop attempt to drill, tap and install a "helicoil" thread repair and 2. intake replacement, which I strongly recommend! Sorry for the bummer advice, but its a job best left for a shop to repair.

Regards,

Chris
