Door locks

It sounds like it could be a fuse becasue there are three that run the system. #5, 11, 9

My car is convertible had a heavy rain last night and the passengers side had water on floor in front and back. Put key in ignition and car alarm horn started going off only way to get it to stop was to turn off engine. Automatic door lock in driver side will not work and radio will not come on. When I exit the car and shut door horn starts beeping, so now need to keep door shut to stop horn from beeping. Car worked perfect yesterday and last night. Last driven at midnight then woke up and this is the problem.

You will need to start tracing out wires and circuits and figure out where the short it. You will also need to get the leaking top addressed as well.

what is the problem when i have a aftermarket cd player and it wont turn on and the power locks wont work when the car is off but they work when the car is on but they wont work when the door is open

Start by checking the fuses. The radio's memory circuit can be tied in with the locks, interior lights, or some other circuit that is always live. The power locks will not lock when the doors are open.
