My wife returned from a regular bus stop trip (Which she sets with the car idling until the kids's bus arrives typically 10-20 min) so car was running approx 45 min. When she stopped at home she noticed the car was steaming under the hood and said it sounded like the car was boiling on the front passenger side. Last couple days she has noticed standing water on the passenger side floor board not a lot maybe a cup. When I got home the the cars reservoir was empty of antifreeze and directly below the water pump, to the rear of the car was wet with coolant/water. What do I need to put in the radiator to get it across town to a mechanic specifically??? And have I done the proper leg work and can say it's the water pump? But how did it go out? Is there something needing replaced that caused this? And would removing the HORN RLY (because she broke her key in half yesterday and the damn horn has been going off for minutes at a time and dash saying incorrect key fob)so I pulled it out to silence it, have anything to do with it?
