2000 Dodge Dakota milky oil fill cap

Is it common for the 2000 dakota v8 motors to have coolant leaking from the intake manifold area.

Hi:
No it is not common for that leak, but with over 200K on the truck, it's possible. Also, make sure the PCV is good because if it's plugged, it could cause condinsation and the moisture will cause the oil to do this. WHen you check the engine oil, is there any evidence of coolant in the oil or is it just on the cap?

No there is no milky look on the dipstick. Just on the fill tube and cap.

Make sure the PCV system is clear and working.
