I have a 2000 expedition, awd with 5.4 triton engine.161000 miles. I carry about 750 pounds of tools and parts in the back. I was having trouble stopping this truck even though the brakes where about 40% good. I thought maybe I glazed the rotors by overheating them so I installed new wagner extreme duty pads all around with drilled and slotted rotors. The problem got a little bit better but it still doesnt want to stop. At aprox 35 mph I can stand on the brake pedal and it goes pretty much to the floor and slowly comes to a stop. I took it to the dealer but they said they found no problems and blamed the aftermarket parts. I suspect the master cyclinder is no good. There are no leaks anywhere in the lines or calipers and the pedal doesnt fade like there is any air in the system. Any suggestions ?
