I have a 2000 F-150, V-6 w. 170,000km. An error code came up "Right Bank Running Rich" and the truck hesitates on hills or accelerating. The fuel filter was recently changed and the air filter is clean. My mechanic says I need a new FP, but it doesnt make sense if it as failing that it would run rich.
It may be unrelated, but recently my electronic immobilizer will not read the chip in my key and disables the truck. After fighting with it it will eventually start.
Any ideas? :)
