When I start up the engine from cold I can hear a low tickering noise. It disapears after about 5 min when the engine gets up to operation temperature.

And I also think think the car has a lack of horsepower?

What could this be?

Best regards

i would like to hear the noise but i would assume that its either a exhaust leak or a lifter noise. usually i find its a exhaust leak that goes away when its warm from the metal expanding.

excellent video. its definitely a exhaust leak. look closely at the exhasut manifold and the pipe that connects to it. a tell tale sign will be a little black soot where the leak is. also check the tubes in the exhaust for the egr valve. that video nailed it, its definitely exhaust.

another tell tale thing to check is look at the bolts that hold the exhaust manifold to the head and see if one is missing, they either fall out of the bolt breaks in the head.
