1996 Honda Civic Cream in my intake and oil

I have a 96 honda civic ex 1.6, 5spd. I just bought the car and I have had to put in about 12-24 ounces of water in the radiator after about 40 miles of driving and I dont see any leaks, also there was some kinda flaky stuff in the radiator water? I put in redline water cooler cause there was not much coolent. When I 1st start the car it idles about 1100 and it drives fine, I noticed this cream stuff on the drive way and it was comming from the airfilter, (witch is not stock it has a injen air intake system) and it went up and in the throttle body, After further inspection I noticed this cream stuff under the oil cap a lilttle on the oil dip stick and stuck on the walls of the valve cover and on and around the spark plug. I dont see any in the radiator the water is clear. Can this be a blown or pertial blown head gasket? Thank You for your time and help

Get the cooling system block and pressure tested this will tell you something about the creamy looking substance-could be headgasket cracked head or block-

And also check out the PCV valve

I took off the #1 or #4 wire it had the cream stuff all around it and the plug. I drained a little oil and it was a greenish color with some cream stuff not that much? What should I also replace if I have to replace the head gasket? like timming chain valves ect... Thank You!

Not familiar with this Honda 1.6 -but if it has a belt and water pump behind the front cover replace it-also the oil pump.

Update. I took the head off and there was a new gasket on there, I took the head in to a machine shop and they told me it had already been re-surfaced and there was also a heli coil in the #3 cylinder so do you think my problem with loosing coolent in the oil lies in the head? Cause there is no water on the ground to indecate a crack in the block?

Coolant in the crankcase something is leaking get the head pressure tested/magnafluxed for hair line crack or try another headgasket and go from there.

I had the head pressure tested and they found a crack. it was cheaper 2 get another head so my question is how do I set it 2 TDC? On the block the pistons are #1 Up to top of block#2 down #down and #4 up to top of block. Thank you for all of your help, This has been a nightmare.

Put no.1 piston on its compression stroke-then line the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets then put the belt/chain on-

so on the #1 piston I have it up to the top correct? On the head lining the camshaft and crankshaft sprocket do you just line them with the #1 so when the piston comes down on #1 the intake should start to open on the #1?

Put no.1 piston on compression stroke/TDC Line the sprockets as you see below then install the belt-

So it does'nt matter how many times I turn the sprocket on the head just as long as I line up the up mark with the white mark? Thank you very much!
