2006 Honda Odyssey Rear Liftgate Struts Replacement

Have someone hold the tailgate up (it's heavy) and with a small screwdriver, pry outwards on the metal clips at each end of the struts. When the clip is pried out, you can pop the end of the struts off the ball on the body/hatch. Then you just snap the struts back on to the ball at each end. It is a piece of cake and you can easily replace the pair in a matter of minutes.
