2007 Hyundai Elantra 95000 miles

My battery died on me few days ago. Managed to jump start the car but noticed the air bag light is on after that. What should be done to solve this problem?

Hi there,

Get a scan done to check for any unresolved fault codes if all ok, have a code clear done and you should not have any problems.

The air bag light on is a visual indication that there is a set fault code in the ECU, this can be scanned and a code will tell you what the exact problem is.

Hi there, did you use a scanner that reads body control module and not just engine /trans, if the light came on there will be a code, generic scanners wont always read every code, you may need a factory scanner or at least a top range unit to access the body control section.
