After replacing the ignition switch the engine cranks but does not start

What was the issue prior to replacing the switch? What was the reason for replacing it?

I would suggest scanning for codes as that will help identify what the issue is.

Also, is the theft light on or flashing?

The only thing that I can think is that either the key or module is faulty but we need to start with codes and go from there. Thanks
