My Jaguar brake light came on the day one of the brake hoses came loose. The hose is the one were you put the brake fluid in, and at the bottom there is a small hose that goes to the (master cylinder, pump i think so). Then my brakes got solid rock hard. Next day, I replace the hose and put in new brake fluid, but the brake light is still on and brake pedal is still hard (but not solid rock hard but its hard).I took it to the shop and they bled the brakes and still has the same problem. They needed to do further diagonosis. In the further diagnosis they determine it needed the brake fluid accumulator replace, and to have it retest. If problem was still occuring then brake servo should be replace. Since, they look they were not sure it was either of those two things i told them i didn't want no work to be done. So, then i took it to the Jaguar dealer and there diagnosis came to the following:1.They found aba pump always turned on-does not shut off. They wrote:Possibly accumulator (replacement),Possible abs pump and motor (replacement). Also they noted: pump assembly not properly mounted and is loose.

I need someones help (advice) to give me feedback on what is really wrong with the car. I just think the dealer is out to get my money. When I took it to Firestone they told me the abs wasn't working right, and possibly that there was AIR in the ABS system. So Please help me out if you can. I will appreciate it.

Do you have hydraulic power assist on your master cylinder?
Does your power steering seem to work normally?
Please advise and we can go from there.
