1) I smell unburned gas when warming car

2) during idling, the engine sounds what normally sounds, smooth, but when I take the car out for a test drive, I experience misfire followed by stalling; engine dying after driving only city block.

I've changed practically all the engine sensors, thermostat, etc. Am I missing something?

Inspect the entire fuel delivery system, hard lines, soft lines, connectors, fuel filter, injector seals, fuel rail, cold start valve, fuel return line. Look for any leaks.

Inspect the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator, if gasoline is present, the FPR must be changed.
