Loss of power on hills, or cannot climb a ramp

Hello, I have the have the vehicle listed above 2011, and it loses power on hills.produces a loud sound when accelerating on higher revs over 3,000, and sometimes cannot climb steep hills and ramps.
I have already taken to a mechanic, changed spark plugs, oil, checked transmission oil, everything seems fine.
Although my oil consumption is very high, and get almost empty in 4,000 kms.

What could be the problem?

That is a lot of oil. However, when there is power loss like you described and a strange noise, often times it is related to a plugged or partially plugged catalytic converter. The inside of the converter can come loose and rattle itself into positions which cause exhaust not to exit the vehicle properly. When that happens, you will experience a loss of power.

Does the sound seem to come from under the vehicle or hood? Does it rattle or make a strange hissing sound?

Do me a favor. Take a look through these links. The describe what the converter symptoms, testing procedures, and in general how one is replaced. If you determine that is mirrors what you are experiencing, I will provide directions specific to your vehicle. Also, if you follow the testing procedures, you will know if it is plugged. Also, if you can record the sound with your phone and upload it for me to hear, it may be helpful.
