I replaced my passenger blend door actuator behind the airbag and still have no heat. Any suggestions to get it going would be great.

Lets confirm that we replaced the correct blend door actuator. here are location diagrams in the images below. does the system seem to work okay besides the passenger side heat?
Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

Yes I replaced the correct one. It probably helps to let you know that I have the dual zone version. I will say it was extremely difficult to see where to drop in the actuator into the blend door shaft, that maybe where my error is. It seemed to fit good so I bolted it down but the shaft from the actuator may not be inserted into the actual blend door place where it’s supposed to go. Hopefully this all makes sense.

Can you confirm the actuator is moving with the HVAC controls please? Also when the actuator is out can you move the pivot by hand to have it change temperatures. this guide will show you how:
Hey Ken, so does that mean I can hook the batteries back up with the airbag disconnected to see if this actuator is moving without killing myself with this airbag? LOL!

Yes you can connect the battery with the airbag disconnected. The warning light will be on is all, then it will go out once the car is back together. Let me know.

Ken,
Awesome thanks for the response. I’ll give it a shot and see if it’s moving. Like I said before, I think through the trouble shooting steps once I rule out the actuator working then I can make sure I have the actuator inserted in proper location.

Ken,
Thanks for the response. I probably won’t get to it until this weekend. Once I do it it I’ll shoot you a video of what I got. Thanks again.
