Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1998 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 138K miles
I had the cars linkage/joints checked today in the rear, to figure out why the tires wear down to the steel belts in just 3 weeks. The auto guy said it must be the struts/shocks, cause there is nothing wrong with the joints.
There is also a tapping sound coming from the top area of the passenger side wheel assembly when going over just light bumps.
How would a broken shock cause both tires to wear down to nothing in just 3 weeks?
