There is a gas smell when the car is started in the morning and the heater or defroster is turned on. The gas smell is inside of the car and outside the car. The smell eventually disappears but the smell is strong enough to give my wife a headache. Took the car to a mechanic and they looked at the heater and it appeared ok. What could possibly be the problem?
