Engine Cooling problem
2001 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Automatic 85000 miles
After driving my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix on hot days I will have to wait a few hours until I am able to turn it on again. When I try to turn it on the car shakes, buckles, and then stalls. Once I am able to get it on I can smell burnt gas, smells alot like rotten eggs. I do not have this problem when it is cold out.
The service engine light is on and the code I am getting is for the EGR Valve. Could a faulty EGR valve be the cause of this problem or is it something entirely different?
Thanks for the help.
