I realize this could be basic stuff like; bad sending unit, bad pump, oil leak, crankshaft bearing, rod bearing, or relief valve. My question is, is one of these more common than another? Wanting to know where to start.... Thanks

Hi there,

If you are taking the reading from the car gauge, the first thing to do is check the pressure with a mechanical gauge, this will give a true indication as to the engine oil pressure do this and report the readings, cold idle warm idle hot 2000RPM.

Thank you for such a quick reply... I'll have to buy a gage or one I can borrow. I believe the gage in the toy is working properly because it is consistant. But I will check it and let you know what I find out. Thanks
