HI,

I own a 1998 Toyota Camry 8,000 miles, 6 cylinder.

For the past 6 months, I have noticed a short squeaking sound whenever I release the brake pedal.
I don't hear this sound when I press the brake pedal, only when I release it. My brakes seem to be working fine. Can you tell me what could be causing this sound?
Thank You!

When was the last time you had the front pads changed.

Hi Raz,
Thank you for responding so quickly!
I am planning to take my car in for a brake inspection within the next couple of days.
I'm glad that you gave me the insight to have the pads checked first, to avoid a unnecessary costly repair.
Thank You very much!!
