Brakes problem
1981 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Brake hard pedal only starts after traveling about 5 kilometers from home,there is slight braking even not pushing the brake pedal. I replaced the brake master booster but unfortunately nothing changed on braking problem.

Hi there,

i would be checking the vacuum supply & check valve for the booster. A hard pedal is a sure sign of a problem booster.

You mentioned slight self braking after some travel, so there might not be enough pedal free play or the booster is out of calibration with the master pump.
