Transmission will not go into reverse, will not accelerate past twenty mph

It is jerking when accelerated up the on ramp and it was like it was in neutral. Will not go in reverse and will not go over twenty mph without acting like it is in neutral.

Good afternoon.

Did you check the fluid level and condition?

How long since the oil/filter was changed in the transmission?

It sounds like either low fluid level or a failure inside the transmission not producing pressure.

Is the check engine light on?
