Hi there,
My Volkswagen 1992 Cabriolet has had a new transmissioin just put in. However, after I start it up and it goes for just a few mins, but when I turn it off, it will not start again. During the time that it first starts, I am able to drive for long distances, but as soon as I stop, I can not start it again.
The strange thing is that this is a daily happening. I can restart the car every day, but it will not start twice in the same day.
Could this be a heating problem? The fan is connected to the battery. Could this be a design flaw?
My mechanic has no idea what the problem is. It has a new starter, so I really don't know what the problem is. I've spent a bundle on repairs so far, so should I just give up the ghost now?
Thanks so much,
